Our Mission
The Mission of Citizens’ High School is to provide students a quality high school diploma through distance education with a well – rounded academic foundation , leading to social and economic mobility.
Accreditation
Citizens High School holds multiple accreditations. CHS is designed to provide a full high school diploma, and not an equivalency or certificate. We hold ourselves and our curriculum to the absolute highest accreditation standards in terms of content, structure, and educational benchmarks.
CHS is accredited through the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSACESS).
CHS has bee accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) for over 40 years.
The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a member-led organization dedicated to the well-being and lifelong success of college athletes. CHS offers courses that are NCAA-Approved, preparing student-athletes to perform their best, both on and off the field or court.
CHEA is a private, nonprofit national organization that coordinates accreditation activities in the United States
CHS is registered as a private high school in Florida and operates in compliance with Florida Statutes requiring the yearly completion of the Florida Department of Educations’ Nonpublic School Annual Survey
