CHS: Empowering Students Through School Choice
School Choice gives families the freedom to select the learning environment that best fits their child’s needs, goals, and learning style. Whether it’s online education, homeschooling, private, charter, or public options – School Choice ensures that every student has access to a quality education that works for them.
At Citizens High School, we believe education should be flexible, affordable, and tailored to each learner’s success. As an accredited, fully online high school, we partner with families and students to create personalized learning pathways – whether that means earning a high school diploma, supplementing traditional schooling, or exploring career and college readiness programs.
Our admissions team helps guide families through the School Choice process, ensuring they understand their options, eligibility, and the benefits available to them. With Citizens High School, students can thrive academically from anywhere, on their own schedule, while receiving the support they need to reach their full potential.

No, most states allows you to apply at anytime, though it may take up to 30 days to find out if you are approved.
Unfortunately, ESA funds can only be used if you are no longer enrolled in a state public or charter school.
On your enrollment form, you will select your program of study and desired additional services. Then, we will email you an invoice to submit in Class Wallet to the state.
While a portion of funding must be spent each year, any remaining funds remain in the account and roll over to the next year.
Yes. All classes are online. Courses can be accessed at any time of day to fit your schedule!
The best way to determine your timeline for graduation is to complete a Transcript Evaluation. Our admissions team will assess your previous coursework and provide you with a clear pathway and estimated timeline for graduation based on the credits you have already earned and the requirements you still need to fulfill.
Contact us and we can pull your transcripts for you!
If you already have your transcripts, you can submit your transcripts by emailing them to admissions@citizenshighschool.com.
Students can begin classes once they have provided proof of submitting their School Choice application with their state and we have completed a transcript evaluation.
