Most high school students graduate without college credits – which means more time and money spent after graduation. Families want their students to be prepared, but they often don’t know how to accelerate the path to a degree.
Through dual enrollment with Citizens High School (CHS) and the University of North Florida (UNF), students can:
Earn college credits while still in high school.
Take advanced courses taught by UNF credentialed faculty.
Graduate high school prepared for university success.
Save time and money by shortening the path to a bachelor’s degree.
At Citizens High School and UNF, we know how important it is to give motivated students a head start. With asynchronous online courses in 8-week sessions, we make it possible for students to succeed at both high school and college-level work.
The Plan
Check Eligibility
- Completed 8th grade
- 3.0 unweighted GPA
- Minimum test scores (SAT, ACT, CLT, PERT, or Accuplacer)
Apply
- Contact the CHS Admissions Team
- Submit transcripts and test scores
- Complete the Dual Enrollment Application and make the tuition payment of $650 per course.
Start Earning Credits
- Choose from a wide variety of courses in English, Humanities, Math, Sciences, Computer Science, and more.
What Success Looks Like
- Earn college credits accepted by 97% of U.S. universities
- Graduate with a fully accredited high school diploma
