Distance Education Accrediting Commission
Citizens’ High School has been accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) for nearly 40 years. DEAC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
The Accrediting Commission of DEAC ensures an institution meets the following criteria every five years:
- An approved program of study
- Qualified teachers and academic support services
- Learning and research resources
- Appropriate administrative capacities
- Ethical business practices
- Acceptable admissions standards
- The capacity to operate on a sound financial basis
